At Street Children Ministries (“SCM”), our mission is to reaching out to a childhood lost in the streets with the eternal hope provided by our Savior Jesus Christ.
SCM is a Christian ministry, organized as a Georgia non-profit corporation. The success of our mission requires that we daily earn your trust, by doing our utmost to preserve your privacy and the security of your personal information, and by clearly informing you of how we use your information. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected on our website located at www.streetchildrenmin.org (the “website”), as well as personal information collected in donation received, or otherwise through any interaction you have with us (the “Services”).
We continually review our policies, procedures, and systems to make sure we conform to the highest standards of information security, end-user transparency, and informed consent. The Information We Collect
Personal Information
By using the term “personal information” or “personal data” in this Privacy Policy, we mean any information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a specific individual.
SCM collects personal information when you make a donation or use site links to otherwise communicate with us. This information includes, for example, your first and last names, postal address, telephone number, email address, and other demographic information. For online transactions, we also request your credit card number, expiration date, and may request your Card Security Code (CID, CSC, CVV, or other) number. SCM never stores your credit card information, which constitutes your credit card number, expiration date, and security code. If you request for your credit card information to be saved, SCM keeps a representation of the card that is only meaningful to the payment processor in order to ensure the security and efficiency of any future transaction that you request. Any credit card information that SCM requests is done for the purpose of effectively fulfilling your request.

Network And Usage Information

Our systems automatically collect the IP address of the computer you use to visit our website, and track the number of site visitors and the number of visits to each page and resource on the website. This information cannot be used to identify a specific person.
We may also collect information about how you interact with the Services. This may include information such as the date and time you visit the Services, the page you view, referring / exit URLs, your browser type, and the domain name of your internet service provider. How We Use the Information We Collect
We use personal information primarily to receive donations at your personal direction by the method you will provide (Zelle, Credit Card, Chek, etc.)
We may also use personal information to send you communications regarding our fundraising efforts. You have the right to opt out of these communications if you so choose. To opt out of email communications, please click the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of each email. To opt out of SMS communications, please reply “STOP” to any of our SMS messages.
We use network information to help us understand how people use our website, to administer the site, and to get trend-level information about site visitors and how they reached our site.
Other reasons for which we may use your information include:

Your Information Is Never Sold, Rented, Or Leased
Any personal information you enter into our website and any information you provide to our team members by phone, email, or social media, is kept confidential. Street Children Ministries will not sell, rent, lease, or exchange your information with any other organization, except for those service providers who help us serve you under contract, as described in the preceding section of this policy, or if legally required to do so, such as by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, search warrant, or in response to privacy processes, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Street Children Ministries or its personnel.

SCM is committed to preserving the security of all information in our custody. Our information systems are maintained in physically secured, access-controlled data centers. All data are protected through a multi-layered approach at the network, storage, server, and applications levels, with data access rigorously controlled and limited to trained employees on a need-to-know basis. In addition, we engage external consultants to audit our online systems and test them periodically for all known vulnerabilities.
Cookies And Similar Technologies

At our discretion, we may send a small file, commonly called a “cookie,” to your computer. Our Web servers use cookies to recognize you when you visit our site, and potentially to identify which areas or site features you have used. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, together with other analytics services, to better understand your use of the Services and how we can improve them. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit a website, rather than your name or other directly identifying information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Services are governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. ​​Secure Credit Card Processing

SCM uses Secure Sockets Layer [SSL] technology to securely encrypt data sent during credit card transactions. Credit card numbers entered into our website or provided to a team member over the phone are not retained on our online systems, but are immediately destroyed once passed to our credit card processor. You can be confident that your online transactions with In Touch Ministries are secured to the highest standards set by the credit card processing industry.

How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Information?

We will only keep your personal information for so long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is permitted or required by law.
For example, if you participate in our programs and missions, we may keep your information to send you information about additional programs, missions, and fundraising efforts. If you purchase a product from our store, we may keep your information to fill your product order and send you information about services we offer that may be of interest to you.
Children's Policy
Street Children Ministries will not knowingly collect or preserve data from children under 13 years of age via our website, phone, email, or social media. We believe in the importance of caretakers’ involvement in their child’s internet activities and their access to our site.
